Seniors create high school “app”

A change in the way technology is used in school may be in the near future. Seniors Connor Bell, Perry Richmond, and David Montgomery are working to create an app for the school. This app would make communication among organizations and clubs easier.

Push notifications enabled through this app will allow organizations to easily communicate with their members.

”It’ll be a good way for sponsors, coaches, and the staff of the school to better organize all of our school organizations,” Connor said.

last week the boys have met with the principal, assistant principals, and the counselors for their permission.

The next step is to meet with the administrators at the district level for approval of the school app.

“I think it would be a fabulous idea because it will make the communication between students and staff easier,” said Mrs. Richey, lead counselor. If the app is approved in the district level, students will have an alternative way to access school information.
