Marcus artists were well represented at the recent Visual Art Scholastic Event (VASE), the most prestigious high school art competition in Texas.
Out of over 1700 submissions for our region, Marcus students all earned a score of 4 (highest score) on the pieces entered in the competition – a major achievement. All these students are now All-Region Artists for Region 11N.
Eight students were selected to progress to State VASE in San Marcos, TX.
State Qualifiers:
Lily Caldwell, Alyssa Crabb, Joule Jackson, Paola Jones, Aliza Khan, Eleanor Mack, Issac Yoo, Emma Yoon.
