“As one of our coaches said our team is one of the better teams that have been in his 11 or 12 years at Marcus,” senior David Lally said.

At the finals game, the boy’s tennis team chose teams for district doubles play. The teams were sophomore Sebastian Langdon and senior Ben Wegendt, senior Sam Karnes and sophomore Nic Van Den Handel and junior Tucker Barnes and junior Josh Peters. Barnes and Peters won, but the two other teams lost.

“Overall for the matches, we worked really hard and did our best,” Wittkower said.

They lost, but the second team made up of sophomore Molly Fisher and senior Ludivine Varga won three sets. The third team was junior Vanessa Phan and junior Nicole Wilson. This team won all the sets.
