Anna’s Bakery

Picture this, you are having a party tomorrow but forgot to get baked goods. If you want a fun new creation to serve at this party, then this is the recipe for you. With this recipe, you will have a sweet and rich dessert to serve. Cookie Dough Brownies fuse together two bakery favorites and will be an interesting treat for your guests.

Ingredients:

A box of cookie dough mix (any flavor)

A box of brownie mix (any flavor)

A package of Oreos (any flavor)

Ingredients given on the back of the box of cookie dough mix and brownie mix because it’s different for each brand and/or type of mixes you choose.

–          This usually consists of eggs, butter, water and vegetable oil

–          For example, my recipe asked for a total of one cup of butter, 3 eggs, ½ a cup of vegetable oil and ½ cup of water.

Steps:

1.       First, wash your hands! This is a major rule so that those who eat your treats do not get sick.

2.       Set your oven for 350 degrees.

3.       Now you will start with the cookie mix. The ingredients you use and the directions are dependent on what type/brand of cookie mix you bought. So, follow what the box says. (Ex: I used a stick of butter and one egg in this recipe.)

4.       Add an extra tablespoon of vegetable oil and another tablespoon of water while you are mixing together the ingredients. This will keep the cookie part of this treat from burning.

5.       After you are done with the cookie mix, you are now able to start the brownie mix. Again, follow the directions on the box, and use the ingredients stated on the box.

6.       When you are done with both mixes, fill up your cupcake tins. Before filling the tin, spray it with vegetable cooking spray in each cupcake holder, fill it halfway with cookie dough, then add an Oreo in the middle and top it off with the brownie mix. Make sure the brownie mix covers the Oreo and cookie dough completely.

7.       Finally, you can bake the cookie dough brownies for 23 to 25 minutes.

8.       Now you have a great batch of cupcakes to give to your friends and family. I hope you enjoy!

This recipe can make anywhere from 18 to 24 cupcakes. This could be a fun variety mix to do for a party with all the possible combinations. For more recipes tune into The Marquee website about every two weeks.
